Bridgeport Harbor Marina

We have recently fallen in love with Connecticut, and we’re so excited to add Bridgeport Harbor Marina to the Snag-A-Slip family! From scenic New England views to the beautiful weather, this marina is a must visit for any traveler along the East Coast. If you’re looking to explore the Long Island Sound, this is the perfect destination on the North side! The marina has a variety of amenities to make you feel at home, including an onsite restaurant, Boca Oyster Bar. We absolutely recommend visiting, not only for the food, but for the views from the deck as well.

Bridgeport, Connecticut is a really fun town, filled with restaurants, shops, and entertainment. A must-visit we have been dying to see is the Barnum Museum, documenting the history of the Circus and P.T. Barnum. It looks straight out of “The Greatest Showman!” Bridgeport Harbor Marina is right in the heart of it all, so don’t miss out and start planning your trip to Connecticut today!

Cape Marina

Time to jump down to the beautiful and tropical Florida! Cape Marina is an awesome family-owned marina in Port Canaveral, Florida that can accommodate boats up to 140 ft. in its protected waters. Florida is all about that rest and relaxation, and Cape Marina encourages you recharge at their docks. There are amenities to make your boat happy such as gas and fuel docks, boat service, and a travel lift as well as amenities to make you happy. Grab a cabana by the pool, get some drinks and food and let the kids explore the grounds or fun game room. When you stay with Cape Marina, you can rest easy knowing this environmentally friendly marina is certified clean and green! As it gets colder up North, this may be quickly added to our winter itinerary.

Sunset Bay Marina and Anchorage

Add it to the list! Sunset Bay Marina and Anchorage is another tropical paradise we will be craving when it starts snowing. The city of Stuart is a hidden gem of Florida’s Atlantic coast, just North of Miami and Palm Beach. While here, guests get to enjoy Florida while avoiding the hustle of popular tourist destinations. Stuart is known as the Sailfish Capital of the World, perfect for expert fisherman or novices looking to try their luck! The marina has so many great amenities such as a super comfortable lounge, WiFi, swimming pool, and the onsite restaurant, Sailor’s Return

Sunset Bay Marina and Anchorage actually connects to the Stuart City riverwalk which will put you right downtown amongst beautiful parks, delicious restaurants, and probably too many shops. Not that we’re complaining! Stuart, Florida and Sunset Bay Marina and Anchorage is a must visit in the new year.

The Bluffs Marina

The Bluffs Marina is a must see once you leave Stuart and head South towards the Keys! The Marina is in an entirely protected deep water cove, perfect for your boats protection during Hurricane Season. With 102 slips accommodating 130 ft. vessels, you won’t need to worry about finding a place to part for the night. There are plenty of amenities to make you feel comfortable while docked including a boat lift, electricity and fuel, cable, pump-out, restrooms/showers, and more! Jupiter, Florida is known for its scenic views and beautiful environmental sites and state parks. Check out the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse or the John D. MacArthur Beach State Park while in the area. There is also Championship Golf tournaments held in close proximity and great Cultural Events throughout the year.

Marriott Tampa Water Street Marina

We know we said it’s nice to avoid the busy tourist attractions in Florida, but Tampa may be the exception! Marriott Tampa Water Street marina has 39 full-service slips located in the heart of downtown Tampa. With the Marriott right off the docks, guests are just steps away from a beautiful rooftop pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, and much more! The marina is adjacent to the Tampa Convention Center, which hosts a variety of really fun events all year round. The Tampa Riverwalk, Florida Aquarium, Amalie Arena and the Sparkman Wharf, and much more are within walking distance. We’re particularly excited about seeing the Florida Aquarium, which gets guests up close and personal with sea turtles and Florida coral species. Just what the doctor ordered! You’ll never run out of things to do and explore in Tampa.

Dandy Haven Marina

We can’t leave Virginia out of our favorite Southern destinations, and Hampton is a must see and must add to the 2020 itinerary. Of course, we have to mention this marina is family owned and loved. The team are amazing and dedicated to making your stay as enjoyable as possible. There is a full-service boat repair onsite with Master technicians ready to give your vessel the RnR it deserves. The 12 acres of land are truly a site, especially in the Spring and Summer when everything is green and lush. The marina is part of the Virginia Clean Marina Program

and works to prevent pollution that comes off boatyards and recreation vessels. While you’re headed South, make sure to stop at one of Chesapeake Bay Magazine’s Best Marinas of the Bay in 2018!

Marina Village

Marina Village is the next best stop down the coast if you’re interested in an action packed vacation full of fun activities! Boynton Beach, Florida is just north of Fort Lauderdale, so whether you’re stopping on your way South to the bigger city, or in to stay a while, Marina Village has something for everyone. Located right off the coast, it is the perfect destination for fishing charters and drift fishing. You can rent boats from the marina to take out and fish, or jet-skis for the family to head out on the water to enjoy. You can even join a scuba diving charter and explore the beautiful waters of Florida. Boynton Beach is the life of the party, and once you’re tied up, you’ll be just steps away from local parks, beaches, shops, restaurants, and so much more! We know it sounds busy, but don’t worry-Marina Village will be a memorable vacation for a recharge and some much deserved RnR.

Catawba Landing

Catawba Landing is a bit farther out from the bulk of our new marinas, but we are no less obsessed! Located in the beautiful Port Clinton, Ohio on Catawba Island off Lake Erie, this protected marina is the perfect destination if you want to tie up and enjoy your stay on the lakes. There are 364 slips for vessels up to 50 ft down a spacious dock. The marina offers amenities such as a gas dock, pump-out, fully stocked ship store, snack shop, a picnic area, and more. Catawba Landing is very close to the Bass Islands and the Western Basin, providing some awesome boating adventures for our friends in the Great Lakes!
