Providence, Rhode Island is the perfect destination for a fun boating excursion in the coming spring and summer months, and we have the perfect place for docking!

Located in the heart of downtown historic Providence, Fox Point Marina’s location allows guests access to fun attractions, great bites, historic locations and tours, and beautiful waterfront views of the Providence River. If you don’t find everything you need on site, this central location allows easy access to the city and everything it has to offer. We definitely recommend exploring the city as well. However, if you just want a relaxing trip with beautiful weather and views, Fox Point offers a variety of great amenities such as private bathrooms, showers, and 3 restaurants/bars on-site!

Fan favorite restaurant, The Whiskey Republic, is an eccentric mix of a sports bar and an Irish Pub and offers something for everyone! The restaurant can host events with up to 500 guests, typically has live music (concerts and acoustic sets), and DJ hosted nightlife at the bar. They also have a variety of interesting events throughout the year, such as Snowriders, Dog Days, and the Waterfront Festival. Current weekly specials include:

Mondays – 40 cent wing night

Tuesdays – $3 Tuesdays

Wednesdays – $5 Flatbreads

Make sure to check out The Whiskey Republic’s Calendar to stay up to date on more fun events they have planned throughout the year! Check them out here: https://www.thewhiskeyrepublic.com/

In addition to all the great amenities nearby to the marina, other amenities on-site include pump-out services, WiFi, floating docks, ATM, parking, and a launch ramp. Don’t forget to bring your furry friend, as this property is gated and extremely pet friendly! A few things to keep in mind-with Fox Point Marina’s central location and protected waters is that there is a height restriction of 20-27 feet dependent on the tide and the Providence River Bridge. The Hurricane barrier for the city is also in close proximity, limiting the beam length of your vessel to 20ft.
